Thermal imager

Thermal imager - as the name implies, thermal imagers react to heated objects — more precisely, to IR radiation emitted by heated objects; based on this radiation, the device builds a "picture" visible to the operator. At the same time, each color in such an image corresponds to a certain temperature. This format of work allows you to see objects that merge with the background in the optical (visible) range: for example, an animal or a person will be clearly visible in the thermal imager due to increased body temperature, even if they are indistinguishable from the surrounding area to the naked eye. At the same time, the effectiveness of such detection strongly depends on the air temperature - in the heat it decreases.
