Jacks
A jack is a device for lifting heavy objects with the possibility of short-term fixation in a given position. Instruments can be portable (portable / mobile) or stationary. The use of portable ones is widespread in the repair and maintenance of cars, trains, aircraft and other equipment, as well as in construction. Stationary jacks are usually used as load-bearing elements in production equipment. The main distinguishing feature dividing modern jacks into groups is the lifting method on which the device mechanism is built. All existing lift designs belong to one of the following groups: mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic.
