Electric heat guns

Electric heat guns are equipped with an electric heater - coil, heating element or ceramic element. They are quite light and compact compared to other varieties, inexpensive and relatively easy to operate and maintain, moreover, they can be used practically without restrictions even in residential premises, since they do not create strong noise and exhaust gases. However, there are some "pitfalls": the power of most models does not exceed 10 kW, which is very little by the standards of heat guns. At the same time, devices of 5 kW and above cannot be connected to ordinary household sockets, and more powerful ones often require three-phase power. In addition, electric heat guns are highly sensitive to moisture.
